Sustainable Trail Design, Building and Maintenance Training

Volunteers, Edgardo and Araceli Padilla at the Monte Carlo Trails

0S3 Movement is a local Non Profit Organization 501c3 dedicated to Social Welfare and Cycling Education. They encourage families to adopt a healthy lifestyle by including bicycling in their normal daily activities. Their mission is to enhance wellness by promoting bicycling as a means to good mental and physical health by producing bicycling, cultural and educational events.

This spring they held a sustainable trail design, building and maintenance training. This was not only a great training, but one that would yield tangible dividends as it is a part of the “coming soon” Monte Carlo Trails Public Park in Nogales, AZ. A special thanks on behalf of 0S3 to: Mark Flint from Southwest Trail Solutions, Adam Milnor from National Park and Service, the assistance of Chuck Hill from the SCVBAC and Luis from the City of Nogales.
