Preeo Pearl Johnson, 42, fromCanyon Day, Arizona passed away on August 24, 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born on May 6, 1976 in Whiteriver, Arizona to Pedro and Carol (Quintero) Johnson.Preeo was a dedicated, forgiving, hard working woman. She was a kind spirit and loved to spoil her children and grandchildren. She was a God-fearing caring woman who would do anything for anyone.Preeo worked as a CHR in Whiteriver for 9 years before going to work for the Rainbow Treatment Center in Whiteriver for a year.

During the Community Action Board meeting held by the Arizoan Prevention Research Center on September 21st 2018, a moment of silence was taken to remember the life and work of Preeo Johnson. Her work as a community health worker impacted the lives of hundreds, and her hard work and preseverance in the field will forever be remembered.
