Mark Your Calendars: AzCHOW 16th Annual Conference

This year for the 16th consecutive year AzCHOW will be holding its annual conference. A lot has changed in the world of Community Health Workers and the AzPRC are once again sponsoring this event, in hopes of aiding in the dissemination of the Community Health Worker movement. 

Please mark your calendars for June 20th and June 21st 2019 for this great event. This year the event will be held in mid-town Tucson at the Doubletree Hotel, conveniently located in the middle of town. 

 

The AzCHOW conference is the signature event for the Community Health Worker (CHW) workforce in Arizona.

Community Health Workers are a vital workforce in today's healthcare system: we connect patients to care, improve health service delivery, and advocate for vulnerable populations in our state. AzCHOW's annual conference strengthens the CHW workforce by providing training, building professional capacity and sharing knowledge about the pressing health issues facing Arizona's communities.

Luncheon/Keynote Speaker

Conference Presentations: 1:00pm-5:00pm

Friday, June 21st

Breakfast: 7:00am-8:00am

Conference Presentations: 8:00am-11:00am

Award Luncheon: Joel Meister CHW and CHW Organization of the Year Awards 11:00am-12:30pm

Closing Speaker: 12:30pm-1:00pm

The AzCHOW Conference will take place at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Tucson: Reid Park, 445 S Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ 85711

A block of rooms has been reserved from June 16, 2019 - June 23, 2019 just in case you would like to enjoy beautiful Tucson a few days be for and after the conference!

The special room rate will be available until May 28th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.
